Hello, I'm Tressa
Welcome! The fact that you have come to this site shows that you are seeking healing or change. Congratulations for taking care of you.
Many of life's experiences leave us overwhelmed. You may be feeling lost in a gloomy fog with no way out. Or, perhaps you are looking to create a new and brighter future. Depression, anxiety and relationships that have gone bad are things that many experience everyday. Life can be difficult! In fact, it can be very difficult. But nothing is as difficult as trying to do it alone! In fact, it is my experience that the harder life gets, the more skills and strategies are needed.

How do Counseling and Coaching Differ?
A counselor provides support, encouragement, listening, and questioning to help you identify and work through personal problems. The focus of counseling is on how your past experiences interfere with your ability to function effectively in the present. Counseling is about healing.
A coach provides guidance, structure, encouragement, skills, and knowledge to help you change your present situation to create a happier, more satisfying future. A coach is a partner who helps you understand your strengths, remove barriers to the life you want, and gain the skills and knowledge that you need to make your ideal life a reality! Coaching is about change and growth.
